Return & Refund Policy

At Stamper’s Boat Barn, your satisfaction matters. We stand behind everything we sell — new motors, used outboards, MerCruiser engines, used boats, and parts — with a clear, fair return policy.

1. 90-Day Return Window
All products may be returned within 90 days of delivery, provided they meet the conditions below.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be in the same condition as delivered
  • Outboard motors and MerCruiser engines must not be mounted, fueled, run, or modified
  • Used boats must not have been operated on water since delivery, and must include all original documentation/title paperwork provided at sale
  • All original packaging, parts, and documentation must be included

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that have been installed, run, mounted, or altered
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Custom or special-order parts
  • Hazardous materials (oil, fuel, batteries)
  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “As-Is”

3. Refund Process
Returns are inspected within 3–5 business days of arrival. Approved refunds are issued within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. No restocking fee on standard, qualifying returns.

4. How to Start a Return

  2. We’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
  3. Ship the item securely, using a trackable, insured method. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was defective or incorrect.

5. Damaged or Defective Items
Report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photos. If an item is defective or not as described, contact us within 7 days — we’ll provide a prepaid return label and offer a replacement or full refund.

6. Exchanges
Happy to help with exchanges (different model, horsepower, etc.). Follow the standard return process; replacement ships after inspection and approval.

7. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before shipment for a full refund. Shipped orders follow the standard 90-day return policy.

8. Policy Updates
We may update this policy at any time; changes are posted here with a new effective date.
